The Family Ministry Committee invites all families to join together for a day of fun at the Morton Arboretum on Saturday, October 22, 2011. What better way to connect with your family than to spend a day strolling God’s amazing creation! The Arboretum’s annual Scarecrow Walk will be in full swing, and the colors should be stunning. The prices for tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for children age 2-17 (admission is free for children younger than 2 years old). These discounted prices reflect a group rate and a donation from the Family Ministry Committee to reduce the cost.
The PUMC group will be meeting at the Visitor Center at noon on Saturday, October 22. Feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy the day with your church family. Please RSVP to Wendy Proulx at firstname.lastname@example.org with the number and type (adult/child) of tickets needed no later than October 11. The Family Ministry Committee must purchase tickets in advance and leave sufficient time to distribute tickets to those attending. Tickets will be available on Sunday, October 17. And don’t fear, in case of inclement weather, the outing will be rescheduled. There is no expiration date for the tickets.
