Moms Encouraging Moms

Moms Encouraging Moms is a mother’s support group and children’s play group rolled into one. While the mothers meet for fellowship and discussion, the children play.  On the first Wednesday of each month, childcare is provided so that the moms can have time for deeper discussion or opportunities to serve. The group occasionally chooses a book to read and discuss.  Park dates are set during the summer months when the group meets at various local parks for a change of venue.

Members of Moms Encouraging Moms say…

“As a stay-at-home mom, I love that my daughter has this opportunity to learn those social skills other kids are learning in day care settings and that I have this opportunity for ‘adult conversation.’  We both look forward to Wednesday mornings!”

“As a single mom who works full time, I initially was unsure as to how I would fit into the group.  I found this small group to be warm, welcoming and understanding of my work/life situation.  I value the opportunities to join group meetings activities which I am able to take advantage of.  My kids also feel more connected to our larger church family as a result of our involvement.  I encourage any mother to get involved in this nurturing and supportive group.”

“I am so grateful to have the opportunity to meet with moms and kids who share my faith! The support, friendships, prayers, advice, laughter, and encouragement are true blessings that recharge me week after week.”
