Family Events

The Education Committee sponsors three special events each year for all people of the church. These seasonal get-togethers emphasize fellowship, faith, and creativity.  Watch the bulletin and newsletter for specific times and details.
Please join us for our next event and come have fun with your faith family!

Easter Saturday Celebration

This celebration occurs on the Saturday before Easter from 10-12 in the morning. Families share a devotional time, a creative craft project that emphasizes the Easter story, food, fellowship, and an incredible Easter egg hunt! Toddlers through fifth graders hunt indoors for hundreds of eggs filled with prizes. It’s a celebration of the real meaning of Easter!

Fall Family Festival

We gather to give thanks for God’s gifts to us! Activities have included pumpkin painting and contest, stuffing Scarecrows, roasting marshmallows, tractor rides, games, a devotion, crafts, food, and fellowship. Chili and hotdogs are provided. Guaranteed to bring out the best of fall!

Advent Festival

All members of the church family are encouraged to come to this interactive event during the first week of Advent. Craft and story stations, a devotion, and a special invitation to the Advent Season are highlights. This is a “no-cook” pot-luck! Everyone is encouraged to pick up a sack full of their favorite fast food to share.  A great way to prepare for the Advent and Christmas seasons!
