The life of Plainfield United Methodist Church is abundant with energy, programs, and activities taking place for all ages virtually every day of the week.
This media portal captures the highlights of the spirit of our church in a variety of media to engage you to live special moments in the life of our congregation, including video clips of recent sermons; audio and video of the amazing music ministries of the church; photos illustrating the spectrum of activities, ranging from youth mission trips to small groups to Vacation Bible School; and social media networks to connect further with you.
All church services, including baptisms and special music, are recorded and maintained in the church’s archives. Weekly church services are broadcast on Plainfield Community Television local-access (Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99). The previous week’s service is rebroadcast at 9 am and 6 pm each Saturday. Highlights of the most recent services, including the sermon and – coming soon – special music, are featured on the church’s video-hosting site, Vimeo. Anyone interested in obtaining a DVD of a specific service, including a baptism or special music, may do so by contacting us. We will also be showcasing current anthems of the Chancel Choir and performances of special music groups such as the Bellisimo Ringers, Junior Chimes, and United 4 Him men’s quartet in the near future.
