Our Lenten theme this year, “God’s Footprints: Impressions of Jesus on Earth,” aims to place us in the center of the life in Christ. In Philippians 3:10-11, the Apostle Paul says, “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death, if somehow I may attain the resurrection from the dead.”
Through six impressions of Jesus on Earth in the Scriptures we follow his examples and become like him. Those six impressions we will encounter during Sunday morning worship are his baptism and temptations, healing ministry, beatitudes, miracles, palms, and the cross.

Adult Lenten Experience: The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus
Travel with us as we retrace the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Using historical information, archaeological data, and stories of the faith, we will join Adam Hamilton as he follows in the footsteps of Jesus from his baptism to the temptations to the heart of his ministry, including the people he loved, the parables he taught, the enemies he made, and the healing he brought.
Read The Way on your own or, for a more in-depth study, enjoy it with a small group led by Pastor Sherry on Sundays at 9:50 am in room 206 or on Mondays at 12 pm in the conference room.
This 40-day focus will help you and your group grow deeper in their faith, learn more about the life of Christ, and spend time reading and reflecting upon the Scriptures. Questions? Contact Pastor Sherry. Books will be available in the church office.
Come, join us for this Lenten Journey.
