Girl Scouts

Is your daughter interested in joining Girl Scouts? Girl Scouts provides an environment for school aged girls to learn about leadership, the environment, community service, camping, to have fun and especially to make new friends! My name is Tammy Jimenez and I am the leader of Troop 362, a fourth and fifth grade Junior level troop which meets at Plainfield United Methodist Church most Wednesday’s from 6:30-8 p.m. I can be reached at 815-439-5658 or by email at . Our troop is always accepting new members. If you have a daughter who is in Kindergarten through High school and is interested in joining a troop you can check the Plainfield School District web site and click on the virtual backpack for information or you can go to the Girl Scout council website, click on the “join” picture at the bottom of the page. It will lead you to the tab “Benefits and Basics” then click on “find a Troop”, fill out the information and then click on “submit.” This will send your information to the council and they will be in touch with you to find a troop that fits your needs. Happy Girl Scouting!
